# Super GMTK GameJam
Feel the stress of a game jam deadline.
In Super GMTK, the Game Jam theme is super brush, so interpret the theme how you'd like:
"Do anything to stop 'Physical Game Media' from getting into players hands..."
(* GameJam theme not sponsered or endorsed by any major game companies)

## Goal
 - Make a game (level) -
 - Slow down the falling game disc
 - the longer the level takes to finish, the higher the score

## Controls

| Action | Input |
| ----------------------- | -------------------------------- |
| Place a piece | Left click |
| Remove a piece | Right click |
| Rotate | Mousewheel or `Q` and `E` |
| select piece            | Numbers 1 -> 0                   |

### Make your games... my way
A 'Game Jam hour' feels like a second. To help you feel like a game dev, you get 72 seconds to make your game, before it gets released no matter what. Everyone in the GMTK Jam loooves the GameJam timer count down ;)

Lucky for you, you have "GMTK Game Jam Tool Kit" (or the GMTK GJTK) - the definitive Game Making Tool... ... ... Kit out your level with the provided pieces and make the best game you can, before that Game Jam timer reaches zero.

### Metacritic score
After release, you'll get to see the average player playing your game. The longer it takes them to reach the goal, the higher your Metacritic rating grows.

Just like Marques always says "A long game is ALWAYS a better game. No exceptions".

### After your run
- Reach 'play time' milestones to unlock new Tool Kit pieces (your first run rewards you for playing my game <3 )

- Like in real life, your metacritic score adds up, and you can spend a bit of it for a 'post release patch' (get another try with the same level layout)

  - Patching gives you another shot at fixing your game, push those metacritic numbers up

Nice concept! I like the balancing act of preventing the disc from reaching the goal without it stopping. On the first attempt, I tried the "Sony strategy" of blocking it off entirely...
